Bio

Angela Flanagan is an attorney in DarrowEverett’s Business Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution Group. She focuses primarily on civil litigation matters for clients  with experience spanning the full lifecycle of litigation-from discovery and depositions through dispositive motions, pre-trial practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trial preparation. Angela has appeared in courts across Massachusetts and Maine.

Angela is an alumna of UMass Law in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, where she served as Managing Editor of the UMass Law Review. During law school, she also served as the judicial intern for the Associate Chief Administrative Law Judge for the National Labor Relations Board in New York, New York, and as a student representative on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Committee on Lawyer Wellness, participating in the law student subcommittee.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DarrowEverett, Angela was an associate at an Am Law 100 firm in Boston, Massachusetts, where she defended toxic tort claims – including those involving asbestos, benzene, and talc – as well as products liability, general liability, and professional liability claims. Prior to that she also served as an in-house compliance attorney for a law firm.

Representative Matters

Representative Matters

  • Served on the trial team for the sole remaining defendant in an asbestos litigation matter in Rhode Island, in which the plaintiff alleged secondary exposure to asbestos through the defendant’s products as well as numerous third-party products. The jury returned a full defense verdict.
