Bio

Tracy L. Woodard focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing, lending, contracting, property acquisition and development. She has more than a decade of legal experience, managing complex commercial real estate matters for developers, property owners, investors, lenders, and clients in the government, banking and business sectors.

Prior Experience

Before joining DarrowEverett, Tracy served as executive legal counsel for a top 10 U.S. commercial bank, advising officers and senior management on legal issues related to lending and insuring residential and commercial transactions within Florida. Earlier in her career, she represented institutional lenders and commercial developers, negotiating and drafting documentation for the purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and development of commercial real estate.

Representative Matters

  • Facilitated and handled a $120 million merger-related sale of bank-owned real estate assets throughout the southeastern U.S.
  • Represented and closed the purchase and leasing of over 150 telecommunication tower leases and ground site acquisitions in over five states for a major telecommunication carrier.
  • Represented a government entity in a $28 million loan transaction for the development of affordable housing.
  • Major home builder and developer representation in the acquisition of land and the further development of premier single-family homes throughout Florida, facilitating the land use and development of premier amenities in the developments.
  • Represented major multifamily developer in a $70 million acquisition and development of a mixed-use retail and multifamily development and related leases with major grocery retailer as anchor tenant; negotiated and drafted joint venture agreements related thereto.
