Overview
Beth N. Lowson is Of Counsel and a Practice Leader for DarrowEverett’s Regulatory & Compliance, and Private Equity, Capital Markets & Securities Practice Groups, focusing primarily on corporate and securities law. Beth’s clients are in the investment management and financial services sectors and include publicly traded and private companies, hedge funds and other private funds, SEC and state-registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, and private investors. Beth regularly advises clients concerning SEC reporting and compliance, corporate formation and structuring and regulatory compliance, with federal and state securities laws and regulations.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining the DarrowEverett team, Beth served as Senior Securities Counsel for a New York securities law firm specializing in corporate transactions, securities law compliance, broker-dealer, and investment advisory regulation, and as a Partner at a boutique New York corporate and securities firm specializing in private offerings, entity formation and compliance, and business contracts. In addition, Beth previously served as Vice President and SEC regulatory counsel in the legal department of a large international insurance company, and also served as a senior associate at a large New York law firm where she focused on public securities offerings. While at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Beth was the Associate editor of the Journal of International Business Law.
