Overview

David H. Haft is a member of DarrowEverett’s Business Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group. His practice concentrates on business and commercial litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate litigation, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, strategic planning, corporate structuring, taxation, and complex transaction negotiation. Throughout his career, David has successfully represented both international and domestic-based individuals and companies in navigating the complex world of commercial and business dispute resolution, including matters involving bet-the-company litigation and trade secrets protection, commercial arbitration, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, and breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims. In addition to litigating on behalf of his clients, David also serves as outside general counsel for several of his small business clients, where he advises clients on a wide range of issues including corporate formation and governance, taxation, succession planning, risk management, intellectual property rights, real estate litigation and employment related matters. David’s clients include multistate commercial real estate developers, secured and unsecured lenders, health care companies, CBD-related companies, investors, fraud victims, and real estate companies.

Prior Experience

Before joining DarrowEverett, David was a partner at an Am Law 200 firm, where he represented business clients in commercial and business litigation matters including breach of contract actions, arbitration, real estate related actions, partnership disputes, derivative actions, bankruptcy and insolvency litigation, and other business torts, in addition to counseling clients on various issues including construction and real estate workouts, insurance coverage disputes, lease negotiations, enforcement of statutory lien rights, and disposition of assets and real estate holdings.
